Ludhiana, September 19
The annual conference on ‘Neonatology and Paediatric Intensive Care’ was held at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where pediatricians and neonatologists discussed in detail about the latest updates in the field of Paediatric Intensive Care.
More than 300 delegates from different parts of the region participated in the conference.
The conference was formally inaugurated by Secretary of the DMCH Managing Society, Prem Kumar Gupta. The guest of honourin the event was Dr Anupam Sachdev, president, Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP).
Prem Kumar Gupta lauded the role of the Pediatric Department of the DMCH in organising this conference with the joint efforts of the IAP Intensive Care Chapter Punjab and National Neonatology Forum.
During the inauguration, a book on ‘DMCH Pediatric intensive care Protocols’ was released and was given to all registered delegates.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Puneet Aulakh Pooni, who is currently the president of Intensive Care Chapter, Punjab, and organising chairperson for the conference said it is very important for pediatricians and neonatologists to keep themselves updated about recent developments in the field of pediatric intensive care.
World Physiotherapy Day observed at DMCH
Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Tuesday observed World Physiotherapy Day by celebrating 21 years of World Confederation For Physical Therapy.
The day was observed by a cake-cutting ceremony by the chief guest, Sunila Gupta( Member, DMCH Managing Society) along with the secretary Prem Kumar Gupta and Dr Sandeep Saini (Acting Principal, College of Physiotherapy from CMC Hospital, Ludhiana). Also present on the occasion were principal Dr Sandeep Puri, (Medical Superintendent), Dr Sandeep Sharma, Dr Gagandeep Singh and Dr Mohammad Yamin.
